Taqueria Tres Magueyes in Temple

I have been going to this retyrant for years always good service but since the pandemic there are a certain wattrees that dont want to acknowage you r there and refuse to wait on you necause they want to hang out in the kitcgen and talk .i will not dine in anymore because it does not feel the same.If u decude to go be prepared to wait

I am so lucky to be just up the road from this wonderful food. My wife's go to are the crispy chicken tacos but she is just as much a fan of the flatas. I usually get the bean and cheese nachos but also go with the chicken tacos, but soft not crispy. That changes 3 tacos to 2 but still more than I can eat in one sitting. Every ingredient is top notch. From tortillas to the complimentary chips and salsa and everything between.

Upon walking in, this restaurant was very welcoming. The environment was relaxing, the hostes was polite and it wasn't overly loud which inspied good concentration and relaxment. When I ordered, I couldn't even think before my food was delivered. The chips and salsa were wonderful. My burrito was delicious and prepared nicely. The mexican rice was warm with a hint of garlic, superb. My refried beans were also warm and the texture was sooth and stayed on my fork when I picked them up. My main dish, a barbacoa burrito, was smothered in melted cheese and the beef was steaming with every bite. The beef was about 95% lean, a big deal when your hungry. The ice tea was great and the waitress got it right each time I asked. The checkout was quick and polite. I definently recommend this place to eat for any occasion.

The good is very simple so don't expect any particular experience. Even though the food may be forgettable, I think the value is pretty good considering their well priced menu. I've come here for the dependable low cost option when I didn't have a particular place in mind.

This is one of my favorite places to go. Food and service is always great.

You're gonna wait and perhaps have the tail end of your car hanging in incoming traffic's but if you get hit you can still enjoy the great food this place has to offer! Just kidding! Call ahead though so you don't have to wait!

I use to go to this place a lot years ago and it was always great. Went for the first time again today and had a beef fajitas taco salad. Delicious food, they won't serve you crusty meat that's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours like other Mexican restaurants do. Great service too. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best Mexican Food I have found in Texas!!! I've been searching for a shredded beef burrito. They called it Barbacoa.

We ordered two meals 40 minutes ago, when we went for pick up, they could not find it. They offered no kind of service or help and we left.We supported this restaurant for years very disappointed and will not go back.

We were on a business trip and my friend told me about this place. Parking can get tough outside but we were able to find a parking spot both times we went to eat here. Food was very good and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this location.
